What can kids do to have a safe trip on the
Internet?
- Take the trip with your parents or teacher.
- You can help your parents learn about the internet.
- Ask your parents to put the computer in the family room.
- Agree to follow these five rules:
- Don't give out your name, age, school, address, phone number, picture, or other
information about yourself or family without permission.
- If you see something online that looks bad or makes you feel uncomfortable, don't
respond. Leave that area right away and tell your parents.
- Don't open or accept e-mails, files, links, URL's or other things online from
people you don't know or trust.
- Don't get together with anyone you meet online without getting your parent's
permission.
- Don't give out your password to anyone but your parents, not even your best friend.
