What can kids do to have a safe trip on the Internet?

  1. Don't give out your name, age, school, address, phone number, picture, or other information about yourself or family without permission.
  2. If you see something online that looks bad or makes you feel uncomfortable, don't respond.  Leave that area right away and tell your parents.
  3. Don't open or accept e-mails, files, links, URL's or other things online from people you don't know or trust.
  4. Don't get together with anyone you meet online without getting your parent's permission.
  5. Don't give out your password to anyone but your parents, not even your best friend.
