I would like to tell you a little bit about my self.  I have been a teacher since 1975.  I have been with Waxahachie since 1980.  I received by B.S. from Baylor and my M.E.D. from TWU.  I have special trainings in Early literacy, Dyslexia,  ESL and Gifted and Talented.  

I am a mother of 4 children.  They are ages 28 26, 20 and 18.  All four are in college.  They are at A&M Galveston, University of Texas at Dallas, North Texas and Hill College.   I have been married since 1975.  I come from a school teaching family, my father was a principal and my mother a teacher.

My ideas about teaching are as follows.

R -  I believe you must really love children.

E -  I believe enthusiasm to teaching and learning must be shown each day.

A -  I believe that attitude is how you attack  every situation and the choices you make.

D -  I believe that dedication to all children and the belief that all children can learn must never be abandoned.
