Student Responsibilities!
The children have so very much to keep up with! Here are the ongoing projects K13 is participating in:
Daily Folders:
These come home every day. The children are so proud of their work and are anxious to discuss their creations with you. News from me- and from the office is also included. Please return the empty folder with their behavior calendar initialed each day.
Take Home Learning Backpacks:
This is an amazing new school-wide program to link home and school learning! The children just love the activities in each backpack. The concepts are all kindergarten appropriate and developmentally on-target.
Remember to send the backpack to school each Friday for check-in.
Emergent Reading Folders:
The children are on the road to reading! This program is two-fold. The children need to practice reading their book to you and go over some of the concepts of print. When both are complete, send the ziplock back to school. I will listen to the children read their book and discuss concepts of print. I will issue them the next book. I may not get to each child each day, so please be patient!
