Marvin's Mission Statement

With young children in mind, Marvin Elementary connects the home and the academic world, striving to meet each individual student's physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs.

Educational Philosophy

At Marvin Elementary, we believe that children in Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten should be provided with opportunities to explore their environment and build foundations for learning to read and write. Kindergarteners will be taught basic concepts of print and begin to engage in and experiment with reading and writing, as well as basic math concepts.
